When you double click a parent category that has sub-categories, the sub-category tree expands/collapses. What I want to happen instead is to create a recursive filter on the parent category (by double clicking it).
If a category doesn't have any sub-categories then that's exactly what happens when I double-click it. So why does this behaviour change just because I add sub-categories? I'm OK just using the "+" sign to expand/collapse the sub-categories since I don't need to expand collapse as often I need to filter. (Perhaps having the ability to click the "right arrow" for expanding and "left arrow" for collapsing would also be helpful.)
This inconsistency in behaviour has caused me to stop using sub-categories entirely - I'd rather create a new database file/reorganize my tasks in a different way so as not to have to create any sub-categories. _________________ -- Misha

Ok. You win. We will make double click to filter parent category. If seriously, your comment was the last drop for us to decide to change this behaviour. |
