Task Management Software
"This software rocks golden. Have been looking for this thingy a long time now. My search is over." |
Tommy Hofton - Eggedal, Norway |
" Although I use Microsoft Outlook I found that
the task tracking in your software has a better view and layout than Outlook. I like
the way that icons can be used for different categories, and the different colours
that are used in the main task list make it easier to get an overall
picture of outstanding issues." |
Christopher Jones - Arundel, AU |
"I have a purchased copy of VIP Team To Do List. Has to be one of the best products I have ever purchased. Well worth it." |
Chad Lindsey - Honolulu, HI |
"I like the layout, categories, sorting, filters, and customizable print report. I love being able to change info on multiple tasks at once & being able to right click to change info on tasks." |

Reduce your to-do list
|
The most common problem of usual to-do lists is that you need to add tasks to them constantly and the quantity of tasks grows more and more each day and if you even completed some of your previous tasks, your to-do list looks endless. You can find the way out, if you learn how to plan your time on each task, so your to-do list will become more flexible and smaller.
Here are several tips that can help you: |
- Set the time you plan to spend on your tasks. What time period you need to spend on this or that particular task? Don't plan time to each particular task in hours, as some tasks are large and some tasks are small, so you can group these tasks in one or several projects that can take several days or even a week.
- To accomplish each project quicker and easier, break it down to smaller parts and achieve each part step by step.
- Reward yourself. If you plan your time in the right way, you will accomplish all your tasks and projects in time. But if you reward yourself for each completed task or project, it will keep you motivated for accomplishing your future tasks and projects.
|
So, following these tips, you can learn how to plan your time and tame your to-do list. The question is: "What kind of to-do list I need to choose?" Surely, you can write down your task and projects and keep them in the diary, but you can't be sure that you won't lose the information you have. Take a look at VIP Organizer. It's a to-do list for personal work, which allows you to work with the databases (in which you will keep your tasks and projects) like with files, so you won't lose information you have, as you can make copies of your databases somewhere on your computer.
Also, VIP Organizer allows to set actual and estimated time, you need to spend on each task, sum the total time that was spent on each of them, set priorities, set filters (so, you can see completed and uncompleted tasks separately from each other), set reminder and so on. Just try this software for planning your tasks and projects and you won't face endless to-do list anymore.
