Examples of templates:
- Word templates – this is a type o that can be edited in MS Word. Such a template can outline the table of contents along with specific instructions and guidelines on completing this effort by every section and point of the document;

- Excel templates – this kind is very convenient for those who wish to control progress over preparation and verification of the Marketing Plan, as this tool (MS Excel) is a good solution for managing to-do lists of timed and prioritized tasks;
- PowerPoint templates – these kinds are necessary to arrange a shared (public) presentation of the Marketing Plan to co-workers or investors (proposal template), in order to introduce them the Plan in a specific and measurable terms;
There is a program that can work as an analogue of all the mentioned programs – for creating an outline, for presentation and for controlling the Marketing Plan (in its own advantageous way). This program is called VIP Task Manager and with its help you can do the following:
- Create a template – you can use Task Tree mode to represent your Marketing Plan as a set (hierarchy) of task groups/folders (sections of the plan) and actually of tasks (sub-points associated with each section of the Plan);
