Task Management Software
"This software rocks golden. Have been looking for this thingy a long time now. My search is over." |
Tommy Hofton - Eggedal, Norway |
" Although I use Microsoft Outlook I found that
the task tracking in your software has a better view and layout than Outlook. I like
the way that icons can be used for different categories, and the different colours
that are used in the main task list make it easier to get an overall
picture of outstanding issues." |
Christopher Jones - Arundel, AU |
"I have a purchased copy of VIP Team To Do List. Has to be one of the best products I have ever purchased. Well worth it." |
Chad Lindsey - Honolulu, HI |
"I like the layout, categories, sorting, filters, and customizable print report. I love being able to change info on multiple tasks at once & being able to right click to change info on tasks." |

Job analysis tools: their types and all-in-one software
|
Job analysis tools are a type of software that helps to analyze qualitative and quantitative job parameters, requirements and results. The main purpose of those tools is supporting activities which are usually performed in order of work controlling, evaluation and investigation which help to determine volume, complexity, scope of the jobs accomplished along with contribution made by each of performers to define their remuneration and promotional potential. Functionality of such software may include the following tools:
|
- Job sheet – this is a tool which shows a task or job described in terms of all essential attributes. Such a report may show indicators such as work duration and budget in context of comparing estimated vs. actual values, so you can know if the predefined scope and resources were met just as planned or better. This tool enables analyzing how well the task was done in terms of its quantitative parameters.
- Worksheet – this is a successive list of tasks representing workloads in terms of their ongoing statuses. This outline shows what actions or jobs should be necessarily complete (the full plan) against to list of jobs that are already done or are still pending (the actual situation). This tool enables to analyze amount and quality of the progress achieved.
- Job grid – this is time-related tool which shows time map of the project, so using this calendar you can see the chronology of events and tasks planned for the project: what is done already and left behind, and what awaits you in future.
- Diagram – this is a type of tool which shows tendencies and comparisons in a visual representation. For example you can use Column diagram to compare actual time versus planned one to know how jobs were overdue or completed earlier.
- Job document – this is a publishable/printable report which can represent summarized information by different tasks.
VIP Task Manager is an example of program where you can find all possible tools that allow planning and controlling projects in convenient formats (timeline, calendar, task tree, to-do list) for communicating working plans to performers, analyzing performance of your workgroup in order to identify project evolution, and for controlling work results. |
