Task Management Software
"This software rocks golden. Have been looking for this thingy a long time now. My search is over." |
Tommy Hofton - Eggedal, Norway |
" Although I use Microsoft Outlook I found that
the task tracking in your software has a better view and layout than Outlook. I like
the way that icons can be used for different categories, and the different colours
that are used in the main task list make it easier to get an overall
picture of outstanding issues." |
Christopher Jones - Arundel, AU |
"I have a purchased copy of VIP Team To Do List. Has to be one of the best products I have ever purchased. Well worth it." |
Chad Lindsey - Honolulu, HI |
"I like the layout, categories, sorting, filters, and customizable print report. I love being able to change info on multiple tasks at once & being able to right click to change info on tasks." |
Imelda Armstrong, - Salt Lake City, UT |

GTD to do list - the difference between GTD and usual organization of tasks
|
Often people ask what is the difference between GTD to do list and usual to do list. Let's try to explain the difference with a help of such example: when usual to do list says "Stock up building materials" a task list says "Ask foreman to build a list of required materials", "Call building supermarket and order materials according to list" etc.
|
In other words GTD to do list includes not tasks, but activities - doable tasks that can be immediately physically performed one-by-one. tasks make it easy to identify next actions. GTD to do list , unlike the usual checklists, requires organization rather by contexts than by time or priorities. tasks are segregated by places or situations where they can be performed, so you need to have specific templates that can be used for organizing your activities by different contexts. For example one of your templates should be dedicated to certain context - into one group you should allocate activities that can be done only when you are at home and another one of your templates can be dedicated to office and so on. Paper templates can be successfully replaced by tasks management software.
VIP Organizer can be considered as simple-in-use to do list software with elegant interface, where tasks represent the things you need to get done and hierarchy of categories will help you to organize them into projects and by GTD context . Tasks in this product can be also filtered, grouped and sorted by priority and due dates. With a help of this to do list you are able to manage your notes and attached files.
VIP Task Manager is powerful client-server GTD to do list software for team management. With a help of VIP Task Manager you can easily plan and track projects and templates in terms of task completion, costs and time. This powerful to do list allows you to organize and view your team activities by contexts, projects, time, costs and responsibilities |
